Approach and Entrance
Presents no problems in most weather.  Good depth in the center of the entrance, dropping off to around 2m at the swim line.  In strong northerly gales entering could be tricky.

A large anchorage with with large sandy patches close to the swim area that provide good holding.  Further out it is mostly weed, but if you have the right anchor it should pose too much of a problem.  It is very protected apart from a northerly wind and swell.  It tends to get very busy around 4pm with cruisers and locals overnighting.

Several beaches with pedalos, water skiing/wakeboarding and inflatable rides.

There are two little supermarkets, both just behind the beach, they are expensive and they do not have much fresh food, but are ok for basics.

There are lots of bar and restaurants on the beach, but none with any particular charm.  They all stay open into the early hours and the music can be heard well into the bay.  For afternoon drinks the beach bar on the smalest beach to the east is a good spot!
